Word on the street is that you want to start a blog right? Great idea, you should do it!

I know that starting a blog for the first time can be nerve-wrecking and can seem intimidating and overwhelming (been there done that), like how do you actually get started? There are so many information out there on the web and everyone seems to give you different tips but who should you listen to?

Well, I used to be a blogging newbie myself and had the same experience starting off. I started my blog back in 2015 and I knew so little about it, but here I am today sharing the things I learned along the way.

You need to know that blogging is about sharing your knowledge and experiences with the world. Choosing a topic that your passionate about makes the process of starting a blog so much easier. I have learned out of experience, that to be a successful blogger there is really just one requirement; to have passion for your topic! So grab a coffee or tea and get cozy, here are 10 quick tips on how to become a fashion blogger. Enjoy!

  • Name your Blog:

Coming up with a name for your blog is the hardest step in the entire process, just take your time and choose wisely. Go for something that defines you and your market.

  • Buy a Domain:

The next step is to purchase a domain; its best to do it as soon as you have decided on a name, owing your own domain makes business take you more seriously.

  • Find your Niche:

Before moving on to the next few steps, just pause and think of what makes you different from everyone else and focus on that, because as we all know that there are thousands of bloggers out there, focus on your creative side to stand out and attracts brands.

  • Work with a Web Designer:

Your blog layout and design is a very important step, if your anything like me; a web designer newbie, I would highly suggest hiring a professional to help out. Knowing your SEO (search engine optimization) will help you grow your brand; SEO basically helps your content get recognized and helps people find your blog easier.

Google Analytics is an amazing tool, it basically helps you monitor and analyze your website traffic, it lets you know who is visiting and how they are coming to your site.

  • Networking is Key:

Its good to build a network with people doing the same thing as you are, there are many ways you can network such as joining a local blogging community online, collaborating with bloggers around the globe, attend blogging conferences or even fashion week.
