Travel Essentials

Hello everyone,

Given that its summer, a.k.a. travel season (YAY!), you’ll find yourself in the middle of packing crisis. When you travel, the journey is just as important as the destination—and packing is the first step. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a three-week retreat, you’ll need to know how to pack your bag and trust me, it can be a nightmare. I’ve had my fair share of packing crises, but I think I’ve finally figured it out.

There are a lot of factors to consider before you pack to avoid over or under packing (trust me, no one wants to overpack!) depending on the type and length of your trip, the weather, size of your luggage, and even the weight limit. With a few essentials, you can travel just about anywhere without overpacking with things you likely don’t need.

Here are my seven tips to make the packing process easier:

  1. Buy it for life

Always go for a top-quality suitcase that will last you forever. Choose the ones with lots of space and compartments.

  1. Statement sunnies

Trust me, you will need one on your vacation. I always take my zebra printed sunnies on vacations, it goes well with everything and is a statement piece itself.

  1. A day to night bag

You really don’t want to overpack your luggage with a bunch of handbags, do you?! Just go with a bag that can be easily transformed from day to night.

  1. Comfy shoes

Approach your shoes like your day to night bag, one item you’ll rock all day long.

  1. Power on-the-go

What’s worse than a dead phone when holidaying? Carry a small portable charger to keep your phone batteries charged.

  1. Toiletries

That’s basic necessity! Avoid late night hunts by packing them in advance. Create a list of your daily must haves to avoid missing out something you need.

  1. Health kit

You never really know what could happen while traveling. It’s important to pack a small first aid kit in case of an emergency.

Thats a wrap I guess! Hope you guys enjoyed reading today’s blog post and found it helpful. Comment down below sharing your travel tips essentials.
