Luxury Items That Are Worth The Money!
The way we shop is changing. People are paying more attention to where and what they spend their hard-earned money on, especially with the economy in its current state. Bottom line, it needs to provide a return on investment and in terms of style and fashion, this return means product longevity by staying relevant season after season and even years.
I do own a few designer pieces here and there. For me, investment pieces are forever piece, something that I will wear a million times. I think it’s okay to see something, fall in love with it, and take your time to purchase it.
How many times have you’ve been browsing online and spotted something you just cant live without; only to find out that it costs thousands! I don’t know about you, but when I’m considering a luxury investment the very first thing I do is consult Google. Yep, when it comes to dropping $$$ on a new bag or shoes, nobody wants to waste their money on just any product.
If you’re looking to make a big purchase, I am here to help! I am going to outline the designer pieces worth buying that you definitely won’t regret purchasing.
- Bags:
Some of you probably noticed my obsession with bags! When buying luxury items, I believe in two items to purchase; bags and shoes. Of course, there are many different designers out there and thousands of designs which make it hard to decide what to invest in and what’s just a ‘trendy piece’. Before I list down some designer investment pieces, I will share with you my top reasons why you should start investing in a piece right away!
- They have great resale value.
- You can wear them for years on end.
- They are classic and won’t go out of style for years to come
Here are some of the smartest investment pieces:
- Chanel– Classic 2.55 or Chanel Flap

- Dior– Lady Dior and Dior Saddle

- Givenchy– Antigiona

- Louis Vuitton– Alma BB, Neverfull, Speedy 30, Pochette Metis, Pochette

- Hermes – Birkin and Kelly

- Shoes:
Okay so on to the shoe; which is my other top designer piece to invest in. Even though I don’t really own designer shoes yet, I still think shoes are a great investment. Designer shoes are not only made by the finest artisans in places like France and Italy using amazing materials but shoes can also have a great resale value as long as you take great care of them. You just need to be smart about your choices and go for a classic piece.
- Dior– J’adior Slingback

- Gucci – Gucci Loafers

- Manolo Blahnik – Hangisi

- Chanel – Ballerinas, Block Heel Slingback
