1 Easy Way to Boost Productivity
Hello Beautiful People,
The whole world is facing a pandemic; we are all going through the same thing; no matter which part of the world you live in! It is defiantly the most difficult time we have all endured.
There are only so many hours in a day, so making the most of your time is critical and if your anything like me; you start each day with a plan to get so much done, but soon find yourself becoming distracted, focusing on low-priority tasks and, simply, procrastinating (aka end up watching Netflix).
For the past month or so (since the start of quarantine), I have not been motivated to do anything; I would wake up each morning with an agenda but end up doing nothing and feeling really unaccomplished. My to-do list kept pilling up and I constantly felt like I couldn’t get what I wanted done and would stress myself out and feel anxious.
Anyways, I woke up one morning feeling so stressed out and so anxious and just stuck, a position I was in a few years ago and the only way I managed to get out of it and helped me boost my productivity and ending my day feeling good is a motto I bet you all have seen or heard which is ‘JUST DO IT’ by Nike.
This is a phrase that has helped me in the past with my anxiety and stress and I believe it has helped a lot of you out there as well. I wake up every morning now with the thought ‘Just do it’ to push me throughout the day, it has helped me focus more on the ‘how to’ and not so much on the ‘what if’s’.
I realized that ever since quarantine, there were so many small things I used to do that I procrastinated doing such as working out, going out for a jog, painting, baking, writing and the list goes on… so having that ‘Just do it’ in the back of my head pushed me to achieve them.
Its a small quote, yet a powerful one! I have been using this phrase for the past few years and let me tell you; I haven’t felt this motivated and accomplished in a really long time! Let me know in the comments down below; what motivates you?
